High School Musical 3 is okay, just as Muriel's Malay friend would like to describe it, vehemently denying it is great. I did not get to see HSM 2 and got to see bits and pieces of HSM1 but I enjoyed the movie nonetheless.
Not for those who are seeking a deep and well-written story, the movie works its magic on those who would like to enjoy their two hours in the cinema.
Memories of me not caring about my future back in high school seeped into my consciousness. Troy Bolton had an expecting father, a girlfriend and a passion for theatre to consider. I didn't consider anything and I was just so content on just following what my mother would suggest that I do: pass the Intarmed interview, apply for the Singapore Scholarship, among many others.
And then, there came the question of having someone to love. In an email with someone, I pondered on how long after graduation I would be able to find someone to be my future wife.
The trailers shown before the movie were all so targetted towards the teen segment.
