Signs

The only module I am required to take is on Thursday. I am aiming for just a single day of classes (Thursday), or at the most, only Wednesday to Friday classes (like last semester) so that my weekends end on Tuesdays, allowing for weekend hangovers. All the combinations in taking French classess wouldn't allow for a Wednesday to Friday but instead a Tuesday to Thursday. Starting a weekend with Friday is not as fun because people are not free anyway.

This morning is the start of the registration for our modules. So on the bus to meet some friends, I tried to reason why I should take French. I remembered two signs:
(1) Last Saturday, I met a hilarious French girl in a party which is quite rare for me. The last time I met someone who is French was four months ago.
(2) The next day, Sunday, I wasn't supposed to teach Kid's Church but sat in for fun. There was this kid who last attended church a month ago and I found out he is half-French. I had an enjoyable time talking to him about the language.

So I told myself, I just need one more sign. And lo and behold, as I turned to watch TVMobile in the bus, a show on French people in Singapore was on. Coincidence?

So yes, I'll be taking French 2 this coming semester.
